Dan is the owner, founder, and author of the Slackwater project, and he loves helping people have a great time on the river.
With years of experience both chronicling and navigating Colorado’s best fly fishing waters, he’s passionate about sharing the art and thrill of the sport. Dan spends over 100 days each year fly fishing and is an expert angler in the Crested Butte area.
Should Dan be unavailable for the date requested, he will refer you to another top-tier Crested Butte guide.
